So I just got done listening to a beautiful piece of music by Michael Kamen from the series From Earth To The Moon and after looking the series up I found that composers such as James Newton Howard, Mark Isham, Mark Mancina, Mason Daring, Brad Fiedel, Jeff Beal & Marc Shaiman all composed music for the series.
so the question is... How has this not seen a release? there's a lot of top notch composers here. I'd thought this would have been released a long time ago!

Totally agree. This would make a great 3-4 disc set. Maybe the logistics of getting so many composers on one set is just too costly.
It's an oft requested release around these parts and I can't imagine that no label has looked into doing it so there must be some reason why it's not appeared (yet).
It's baffeling to me that by now, no label would have looked into it. Thye scores were talked about back in the day, and have been brought up as something on a number of people's personal grail lists.
Of course there could be a rights issue. production companies listed on IMDb: Clavius Base (only did two projects, this and a movie) Go Flight Inc. (only did this) Imagine Entertainment (still making movies today)
Two production companies that are gone now. I've heard stories like this before and I assume it is along these lines:
Oh, this is the Grail my friends. It'll never happen, there are just too many stars that have to align for this to ever happen, but good lord, a box-set of this series...
