Silvestris doing the music and writing the songs with Glen Ballard ... interesting!

Was just about to post that myself. Yay more Silvestri music, but otherwise ... What the hell!?! Is this really needing a musical make over? I could picture an audio drama certainly but a musical? Very curious how they'll handle the Delorian scenes and the clock tower stunt.

Put this on CD and include the "Back to the Future... The Ride" original score by Silvestri, and you've got a great CD.

WOW!

I am very grateful that Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis are both involved!

As for the music, it is better than I imagined!!!!

"We intend to use music from the movie along with brand new songs to make a version of Back to the Future that is fresh, entertaining and takes advantage of all the amazing things that can now be done on stage."

Excellent! Long Live The Music Of Alan Silvestri! I am more than thrilled knowing that he is back doing what he does best!

There will definitely bring out a CD version of this for the fans!

I wonder if it's the '50s angle that influenced this project, as a business decision, I mean.

I noticed there's also a "Happy Days" musical being produced.

Could this just be more producers trying to go back to that old "Grease" well? Or, hoping once again for the "Grease" that lays the golden egg?

Wow, I just saw this on Silvestri's website:

I'm not sure how I missed the thread announcing it here though.
