This thread is 4 years old & still no Towering is it in the pipeline or not, will it be a straight re release, this is no disrespect to the label but I don't want to own another cd with exactly the same run-time.
If you already have it, you don't have to buy it, but those of us who missed the original FSM CD would be happy just to get the same program material.

Yes had it for years the booklet is packed FSM always went that 1 step further with essays, still, I'd like some information about run time & sound design/engineering.
Yes, I think this is the only big soundtrack that had a quick sell-out that hasn't been re-released (& some of these scores have been re-released two or three times). I don't know, but it may have been something to do with it being a Fox/Warner co-production. This project obviously hasn't been plain sailing for La-La Land, but I'm confident it will arrive, & I'd expect it to be a two-disc release & include the album version.
I've got the FSM CD and even the original soundtrack LP. The reason why this one has not seen a re-release may well be due to the fact that the rights for the music are complicated and entangled. I'm sure many specialty labels would love to re-release this one. It's a vintage John Williams score from the 1970s; most likely, it's legal reasons that delay this.
