JAN HAMMER was born on APRIL 17, 1948 in PRAGUE,CZECHOSLOVAKIA, JAN main achievement was his involvement in dealing with the future of electronic synthesized sound. His most acclaim project was doing the music for the very successful series of the 80's MIAMI VICE. He has scored over 2 dozen films , many for TV, they include- A NIGHT IN HEAVEN, KNIGHT RIDER 2000, SECRET ADMIRER, SUNSET HEAT, ETC. Nothing much on his resume since the turn of the century, he is currently 66 years old.

MIKE VICKERS was born on APRIL 18, 1941 in SOUTHHAMPTON,ENGLAND.He scored a dozen or so films since the 60's.They included, DRACULA, 72, AT THE EARTH'S CORE, WARLORDS OF ATLANTIS , THE STUD, ETC, He once was the pop rock group MANFRED MANN in the 60's. who hit the 40 music charts, He is currently 71 years old.

MIKLOS ROZSA was born on APRIL 18, 1907 in BUDAPEST, AUSTRIA, HUNGARY. He has scored over 90 feature length films from the 30's till the early 90's and is considered one of the greatest film composers in history. A few of his popular efforts were- FOUR FEATHRES, THIEF OF BAGDAD, JUNGLE BOOK, DOUBLE INDEMNITY, THE LOST WEEKEND, QUO VADIS, BEN HUR, KING OF KINGS,EL CID, GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD ETC ETC, He passed away on JULY 27, 1995 at the age of 88.

SOL KAPLAN was born on APRIL 19 , 1919 in PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA., He has scored over 50 feature length films from the 40's till the 70's. They include HALLS OF MONTEZUMA, RAWHIDE,TITANIC,THE VICTORS,SPY WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD,JUDITH, LIVING FREE, ETC ETC.Sol passed away in NOVEMBER 14 1990 at the age of 71.

WILLIAM AXT was born on APRIL 19, 1888 in NEW YORK CITY.Talking about being prolific, he scored over 170 films in less then two decades. early 20's to late 30's.Some of his films were-THE UNHOLY THREE,GABRIEL OVER THE WHITE HOUSE,DINER AT EIGHT,THE THIN MAN,DAVID COPPERFIELD,LIBELED LADY, TARZEN ESCAPES, ETC ETC, He also was a doctor as well. He died on FEBRUARY 13, 1959 at the age of 71.

ISAO TOMITA was born on APRIL, 22, 1932 in TOKYO, JAPAN, He has scored over 40 feature length fims since the early 60's.They include- GULLIVERS TRAVELS BEYOND THE MOON,TIME OF RECKONING,ONE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS,THE PLANETS,THE TWILIGHT SAMURAI, HIDDEN BLADE,ABOUT HER BROTHER ETC ETC.ISAO is still active at 82.

HERSCHEL BURKE GILBERT was born on APRIL 20, 1918 in MILWAKEE, WISCONSIN[Smaller city. not far from CHICAGO]. He scored over 30 feature length films and TV shows from the late 40's till the 70's.Films included- THE JACKIE ROBINSON STORY,MOON IS BLUE, COMANCHE, RIOT IN CELL BLOCK 11, SAM WHISKEY ETC ETC. On TV he did a lot of work on RACKET SQUAD and THE RIFLEMAN. He passed away on JUNE 8, 2003, at the age of 85.
He was also one of the first composers to own the rights to his film music, and his estate still gets royalities from D.V.D.s from the music in "The Adventures Of Superman", "The Rifleman", and the main title from "Burke's Law".

JACK NITZSCHE was born on APRIL 22, 1937 in CHICAGO, ILLINOIS. He scored over 30 features from the 60's till the 90's . He also co- wrote the big hit from the rock group THE SEARCHERS- PINS AND NEEDLES. His film scores includes-ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST,HEROES, PERSONAL BEST,OFFICER AND THE GENTLEMAN,BREATHLESS,THE RAZOR'S EDGE,THE SEVENTH SIGN, MERMAIDS,CROSSING GUARD, ETC ETC. JACK died on AUGUST 25TH, 2000 at the age of 63.

JAY GRUSKA was born on APRIL , 23, 1953 in BROOKLYN , NEW YORK. Rock, pop musician and big TV series composer, who also embraced over 20 features since the late 80's.. He has scored a few big TV shows like SUPERNATURAL[9 YEARS] CHARMED[8 YEARS]BEVERLY HILLS 90210, LOIS, CLARK, NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN ETC ETC. A few of his features were THE PRINCIPAL, SING, MO MONEY ETC. Currently active at 61 years old.
