One of the very earliest digital LP recordings. Wonderful album - I played it to death!

Thanks for your review. It IS a milestone album and this has motivated me to dig it out of the archives for another spin.

I love Gould's massive, elephantine interpretation of TRIBUTE TO A BADMAN.

Shortly after completing the review the CD would no longer play anything other than an annoying pattern of pops and clicks. I had noticed when I took it out there appeared to be a light yellow tint on the edge of the CD. This is now the fourth failure in a CD that is nearly 30 years old. Since I was doing the review I had made a digital file for the computer. I like to listen with headphones while I'm writing the material so I at least have a copy of it.

Hopefully that digital copy is lossless copy.

almost always they are lossless and in this case it was.
