I just feel very sad about this news! Stripes, Ghostbusters, Caddy Shack, Groundhog Day... What talent this man had!

With news of his passing I keep thinking of the excellent cue from his movie Groundhog Day, from the montage where Phil tries to save the homeless man from dieing time after time; very underrated score by George Fenton:

Here is the scene in question

Sad, sad news. Great comic actor and director.

GROUNDHOG DAY is one of my favorite films.

Very sad news. National Lampoon's Vacation and Groundhog Day were both very good films. Analyze This and Analyze That were good too. I think those are the Ramis-films I have seen.

He was a good actor too of course, I vividly remember him in Stealing Home (1988), featuring a gorgeous David Foster-score.
