With ID4-2 getting ever clsoer, I wonder if many have come across this hour-long audio play from 1996? Made to tie in on the movie, it presents a very British slant on the initial invasion...starting off as a BBC "Outside Broadcast" during a Radio 1 Chart Show (and starring a certain famous and very, very British astronomer/musician), then carrying on to a full sound onslaught ("Audio Movie", as they were termed) featuring a cast including Colin Baker, Toyah Wilcox, and Peter Serafinowicz.
Cracking way to spend an hour, if you're any kind of a fan of the movie at all.
Never been released on CD (yet), but wasd produced with full co-operation of the team behind the movie....so maybe we might finally see a CD release to tie in with ID4-2 somehow...but there are still tape copies around, and some people might have transferred these electronically and you might be able to find something with a little digging...
