MONDAY, MARCH 3

TERMINATOR: GENESIS---Arnold Schwarzenegger updated the status of the sequel which starts filming in April, "We will be filming it in New Orleans with some of it in San Francisco and maybe a little of it in LA but most of it will be done in New Orleans. I'm really looking forward to that because as you know, the last time when they did the Terminator, it was when I was Governor and so I couldn't be in that movie but now I'm back again and they are very excited about having me in the film... The script is fantastic so I'm really looking forward to this film."

THE MATRIX---a source said a second MATRIX trilogy may be underway, "We’ve been told that the Wachowskis have already started the writing process with early treatments and outlines already turned into the studio. No word if they will want to direct but my money says “Claro que Si!”..."

TRUE DETECTIVE---Oscar-Winner Matthew McConaughey said he's not returning to the series, "I won't be back for Season two. Season one was finite."

RAZZIE AWARDS---AFTER EARTH was awarded three Razzies: Will Smith--Worst Supporting Actor, Jaden Smith--Worst Leading Actor and the father/son team received a third for Worst Screen Combo. MOVIE 43 also received three Razzies. THE LONE RANGER received a Razzie for Worst Remake/Rip-off or Sequel.

JURASSIC WORLD---Vincent D'Onofrio (LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, FULL METAL JACKET) will play the villain in the JURASSIC PARK sequel. Premiere is June 12, 2015.

THE BIRDS---the remake of the 1963 Alfred Hitchcock movie will be directed by Diederik Van Rooijen. The original movie starred Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR---producer Matthew Vaughn commented on the reboot movie, "It's a total reboot, that's for sure," he told the publication. "It's got nothing to do with the other bloody ones. It's not stretchy guy and a guy running around in rock that looks like it's made polystyrene. And its not a comedy." Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell star.

BREAKING BAD---Aaron Paul has had "serious talks" about returning for the spin-off BETTER CALL SAUL series, "Anything Vince is involved with, I'm there. I owe him my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days - because it's all a prequel - it would be fun." Dean Norris said he probably won't return due to his UNDER THE DOME commitment, "I don't think they'll let me do a little cable show...I'm not a big fan of kind of revisiting something that has already been done. But I think it's going to be awesome. So I can't wait to see it."

THE AVENGERS---Andrew Garfield wants Spider-Man to be in a THE AVENGERS movie, "I would love that. I know that the fans would love that, the fans of the Marvel universe… the more the merrier, the bigger the better."
Director Marc Webb added, "I would love that, as a fan, I think that would be great. I don't know how that would happen, but I certainly would be supportive of it."

Vincent D'Onofrio ROCKS.

Smile for the nice people, Vincent.

That's good. Thank you, Vincent.

The whole "Matrix sequel trilogy" thing has been repeatedly denied by the Wachowskis. I'd be very surprised if they went back to it.

I'm quite content with the previous FANTASTIC FOUR films, in spite of their flaws. I'm no racist, but the Human Torch isn't black any more than the Black Panther is Hispanic.
