StudioCanal will release on Blu-ray director Frank Launder's The Belles of St Trinian's (1954), starring Alastair Sim, Joyce Grenfell, George Cole, and Hermione Baddeley. Recently restored, The Belles of St Trinian's will be available for purchase on April 21.

Amazingly I can still remember seeing the third St Trinian's - The Pure Hell Of St Trinian's (the last one in b/w), at the cinema in 1960 (The Royalty, Ladbroke Grove, West London). I think they're pushing it asking over £13 just for the first film. I think it should really be a box set of the first three, The Belles Of St Trinian's, Blue Murder At St Trinian's & The Pure Hell Of St. Trinian's (my Favorite).
I picked up the boxset a couple of years ago. I remember watching the films on the BBC many years ago, usually during the summer holidays. I'll probably double dip for the Blu Ray.
