I would love to see an expanded release of the That Thing You Do soundtrack, with bonus tracks featuring the original slow garage version, as well as the talent show version, where the band members were trying to catch up with Guy's surprisingly fast tempo. Also incidental score in between the songs would be nice.

Incidentally, my wife and I recently had a little argument, where she insists that those extra versions of the song are on the original studio-released soundtrack album (CD). I'm about to prove her wrong when the CD arrives!

Howard Shore's score is lovely, a shame he doesn't seem to ever be among the composers whose catalog titles get reissued. Maybe he can release his score to this on his own label.
