TUESDAY, MARCH 4 BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN---director Zack Snyder commented on fan criticism of casting Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg), "We know the material; unfortunately, the fans don't know the material. So, we're casting according to what's happening in the script. And we're hoping that leads to enough originality, enough perspective on what we're doing that you get something fresh and exciting. I understand the canon. I'm not crazy. I know what these characters need from a mythological standpoint. I think Jesse is going to be an amazing Lex. Let's not forget he was nominated for an Academy Award. It's not like I just grabbed my friend to play the guy! This guy's the real deal." Also, costume designer Michael Wilkinson said about Wonder Woman's costume, "I mean, you just have to look at the gladiators from ancient Rome, they did their thing in little loin clothes and shield. It works for Thor, it works for 300, so let's see what happens." TERMINATOR: GENESIS---a rumor claims the sequel plot involves the following: "The Terminator from the future will arrive on earth, attack some punks and then slaughter his way through a bunch of Sarah Connors' until he finds the correct target." Kyle Reese reportedly volunteers to go back to 1984 and save Sarah, like he did first time around, but everything will play out differently in this movie. Aside from bringing back the terminator and the human trio; Kyle, Sarah and John Connor, the upcoming reboot will allegedly see other characters from the James Cameron original, like Detective Hal Vukovich, Lieutenant Ed Traxler, Sarah's roommate Ginger, returning as well." UNDER THE DOME---Stephen King wrote the Season 2 premiere which airs on June 30. DANCING WITH THE STARS---Season 18 contestants include Billy Dee Williams, Drew Carey, Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKellar, Cheryl Burke, Cody Simpson, Mark Ballas, Karina Smirnoff, Diana Nyad, James Maslow, Sean Avery, and NeNe Leakes. BATTLE CREEK---Bryan Singer (X-MEN) will direct the pilot episode of the CBS cop series from Vince Gilligan (BREAKING BAD) set in Battle Creek, Michigan. THE FANTASTIC FOUR---Anthony Mackie commented on Michael B. Jordan being cast as the Human Torch, "I think with these type of movies, everything else aside, you need a good actor. Michael B. Jordan is a good actor, black or white. So what you have to realize is, and go back and forth and just say, 'Superman can't fly, Batman ain't real, the Human Torch don't really set himself on fire and fly around the room, so he can look like whatever they want him to look like.' You just have to allow yourself to see him that way. And if you can't do that, that says something about you." GOTHAM---Drew Powell (THE MENTALIST) will play villain Jada Pinkett Smith's second-in-command on the Fox series about Gotham City Detective James Gordon. EARTHA KITT---Zoe Saldana (STAR TREK) is in talks to star in this biomovie about the singer. DISCIPLES---horror movie about humans and demons teaming up to stop the prophecy of a global apocalypse. Tony Todd, Bill Mosely, Angus Scrimm, Nick Prinicpe and Barbara Magnolfi star.

It reveals itself to be the desperate self-rationalization of someone who already knows they are making a huge mistake but cannot alter their course. And rebooting "The Terminator"? Really? Can anyone point out anything about the original that could be improved upon? I can't. What a futile exercise. (Of course, I am keeping in mind that this is claimed to be merely a rumour.)

Pretty sure he would. Same if Blade, Vixen, Static and so forth were cast with a white person. It's a fictional character.

Yeah I get why they are doing it. Bring the second largest paying demographic into the seats. Whatever...

Sounds absolutely terrible. Hopefully all it is is a rumor.

"Give me the two Tim Story FF films anyday - at least I liked them!" ---------------------- Spot on! How dare those two films be light and bright, goofy and fun. What were the producers thinking?? Didn't they know all comic book characters have to be drowning under a dark gray sludge of depression and self loathing. Thankfully, this new version should put things right
