1965 is as mid-60s as one can get... so maybe it's Shenandoah.
A Frank Skinner at last????
Nah. Probably the 3022nd Morricone CD.

If only he'd composed under the name Franco Skinnertini.

I dig this one, but puzzled by description; is it one horror score, if so is it late 70s or early 80s? It can't be both right? Or is it two horror scores, one from late 70s, one from early 80s, but then it would say "horror scores" instead of "horror score". Mama mia!

Maybe BEAT found the original tapes of ANTROPOPHAGUS or they re-recorded Marcello Giombini's amazing score ?? I would flip .... big grin

But I think it will be PAURA NELLA CITTA DEI MORTI VIVENTI remastered, expanded, etc.

That's actually my favorite out of the Frizzi/Fulci scores, would be cool.

How about ZOMBIE FLESH EATERS (ZOMBI 2) would love a complete score with the 'Zombie vs Shark' track.......

I can tell you it is definitely NOT Antropophagus.
If this would be the case, Daniele would inform me. wink
The only existing re-recordings of the "Antropophagus / Le Notti erotiche dei morti viventi" score ist this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Omaggio-Amato-Marcello-Giombini-Single/dp/B008MLBJD6/ref=sr_1_19?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1394052665&sr=1-19&keywords=marcello+giombini

But he gives a little hint. "Maybe some walking dead involved..."
So it could be one of the Frizzi / Fulci collaborations.
wink

Why would be an Italian label releasing American western score? Intrada and La-La Land are not releasing the obscure Umiliani and Cipriani scores either.

(Incidentally I am at this moment playing a second Morricone score today!)

This one would fit the late 70s/early 80s clue certainly better but the complete tapes are lost as well.
Maybe they'll add a recording of the concert from a few months ago ??

Well, Quartet and Music Box are releasing American scores... Although I would prefer that they release European scores.

About Piccioni, we know it is Cuore di Cane (1976). From Nicolai there are many options in terms of TV series, and it seems likely it is another Edipan LP, perhaps "Eleonora", "Civiltà del Mediterraneo" or "Vita di Michelangelo".

About the western, Beat recently posted that the composer was late in is career and there a US state name in the title, so I suspect, Gioacchino Angelo 1965 Colorado Charlie, which certainly seems a bit obscure.
