Good news. Maybe we'll see a stateside release on blu-ray.

Depending on how much work has been done on it , this may be interesting or a total dud.

Now if THIS set would have isolated scores, I'd buy it regardless because we will never get a release of the ORIGINAL soundtrack on CD.

Today we have the exclusive news from Mill Creek Entertainment that they are releasing Airwolf - The Complete Series for the first time, coming to DVD on May 3rd. On the same date, Mill Creek will also release the same title on high-def Blu-ray Disc!

Both 14-disc sets will have the episodes of this Emmy-winning show restored from their original 35mm negatives, and available on Blu-ray in 1080p High Definition...in its original 4:3 aspect ratio, so all picture detail has remained intact! You'll get all 4 seasons, the original three from CBS and the fourth "remake" season from the USA Network. The Blu-ray format set will be priced at $99.98 SRP, while the DVD version will clock in at $44.98 SRP.

If you're looking for more of an introduction to this show, and don't want to pay for the entire 79-episode run of the series in both its forms, then Mill Creek has you covered on that front, too! On the same May 3rd street date as the above "complete series" sets, they'll also put out a 2-DVD re-release of Airwolf - Season 1 for just $9.98 SRP.

I'd buy the first season. If I recall correctly that is the season with more of an "international intrigue" feel. Plus, the pilot movie was pretty good despite the 1980s excess of that dancing chick in the nightclub scene, which is entertaining and beyond all boundaries of good or bad taste.
