It would be nice to see these 3 scores from the1960's getting a release on cd for the first-time.

Ron Goodwin's MONTE CARLO OR BUST and THOSE DARING YOUNG MEN IN THEIR JAUNTY JALOPIES.

Riz Ortolani's THE YELLOW ROLLS ROYCE.

All fondly remembered films with great music that deserves a new lease of life.

You have great taste! Actually, MONTE CARLO and JAUNTY JALOPIES are the same film - MONTE CARLO being the European title and JAUNTY JALOPIES the American title. And ROLLES-ROYCE, bring 'em on!

Ortolanis Anzio and Hunting Party and valachi papers all deserve to be on cd and preserved.

Goodwin and Ortolani would be very welcome, especially THOSE DARING YOUNG MEN...

As for Ortolani, four of my favorite scores by him all came from the same prolific period of the 60s. WOMAN TIMES SEVEN, THE SEVENTH DAWN, THE YELLOW ROLLS-ROYCE, and THE BLISS OF MRS BLOSSOM. So far, we have the first two on CD. I'd love, love, love to get the others.

ROLLS-ROYCE seems like it would be the easiest to release. It was originally on MGM records and there have been quite a few CD releases that were originally on that label.
THE BLISS Of MRS BLOSSOM was an RCA VICTOR LP and for reasons I am not familiar with many soundtracks from that label and that time period seem to be stuck in licensing hell (or maybe just lack of interest by the right-holders): HURRY SUNDOWN, VIVA MAX!, (both Montenegro) ADVISE AND CONSENT (Fielding), McKENNA'S GOLD (Q. Jones), JUDITH and LIVING FREE (both Sol Kaplan) and many Mancini scores just to name a few off the top of my head have never seen the light of day. Other than Intrada getting a couple of Mancini scores released, old RCA VICTOR soundtracks seem to be a tough nut to crack. Maybe this has been discussed before, but does anyone here who actually knows about the biz know why? (I'm just an idle speculator...no inside knowledge).

ABC-PARAMOUNT also seems to be hard to get licensing out of. THOSE DARING YOUNG MEN...was on that label. As well as Bernstein's WHERE'S JACK? and some other much sought after scores.

Next to YELLOW ROLLS-ROYCE I would also be very interested in CD of Ortolani's THE HUNTING PARTY.
