Any chances for a Space: 1999 Year 2 set, yet?

Be patient, greed merchant.

For my own benefit, could you specify cue edits are different? I dont know both sets very well, so I'd like to see if the differences matter to me.

I'm pretty sure that there was a comprehensive breakdown of the three discs here, by Stephen Woolston, somewhere, in PDF format.

Except the PDF link in thread doesn't work

I saved a copy and uploaded it:

Anyone have the Thunderbirds set yet?

Nope, but while I wait I'll give SPACE 1999 another spin. Mere words cannot accurately describe how great that set is.

Could someone post the tracklist for the Thunderbirds set, please?

Does it contain everything from the two Silva Screen volumes and Silva's Best of Thunderbirds CD?

I'm not taking any credit for entering the track names into iTunes, but here's the list.

That's it. I'm either joining or, if he agrees, I'm getting my old friend (who's in the society) to get' em for me. This Scarlett release is the turning point!

Chris,
I have only seen the one picture that was posted on their FB page. It's not on the Fanderson site yet, but there should be some announcement in a couple of weeks.. They mentioned there's more releases to come, so I'm guessing one of these will be Space:1999 Year 2 music.

This is a damned fine representation of the first series' music. I have the other releases as well and this is a wonderful update. The boost in sound quality is sweeeet. With the addition of certain sound effects created musically, it really seems 99% complete. It's great to have more cues form other Anderson shows put in where they were used in the episodes. The only one I wish they included was within Collision Course. Once Koenig spots the "massive planet," the act out music heard was from another Anderson series, but was not included here. Other than that, a beautiful presentation, sonically and physically. A very handsome set.

This doesn't replace the old sets for me. Some of the previous cue edits worked better for me. It's a fine addition and follow up.

The inclusion of more library music is also very nice. I love the Chappell Library scores used here and on The Prisoner and am always happy to see a release.

Well worth the money and the wait to get here.

There was a guy and he's still selling library music from the prisoners. Site was call unmutual. Can look up if email me.
