Julie Taymor's film TITUS will be screened as part of the 2014 FIrst Time Fest on Friday, April 4th at 7pm at the AMC Village 7 (66 3rd Ave). Tickets are available at this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ftf-2014-titus-julie-taymor-in-person-tickets-11010509731.

First Time Fest is a five-day event showcasing new and exciting first films from filmmakers around the globe. In addition, Julie will be receiving the John Huston Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cinema at the conclusion of the Fest on Monday, April 7th at 7pm.

Do not fret Thor, I've just bought my ticket and will give you a report afterwards. As you know, I am a long-standing admirer of his film and concert works, having last chatted with him outside the Brooklyn Academy of Music while he smoked a cigarette during the intermission of a John Corigliano concert. I also told Julie Taymor that her eyes are mesmerizing and remind me of my mother's. I almost had forgotten that I also chatted with them after the New York premier of his opera GRENDEL.
