One North coming. One Fielding coming. A handful of Tiomkin planned. A handful of Waxman planned.
I wonder whether the Fielding title will be 'The Outlaw Josey Wales'. It does fit in nicely with all of the recent Warner titles La La Land has been releasing. Fingers crossed!

I doubt the booklet could be improved upon but I wonder if the sound on the old BYU release of The Flame and the Arrow could be. It's just this side of listenable to me or I'd play it more often. I'm not the biggest Steiner fan but I do really enjoy that score and movie. I'd totally re-buy it if, like The Searchers, an audibly improved version could be produced...

I would think it could be improved with the advances in sound quality in the past few years. It's a very colorful score and I would buy it again too. Look at the miracles Bruce and Chris Malone have done with damaged discs recently.
The last number of years things have been mostly quiet from BYU and SAE. Ray has said there have been a lot of delays, problems etc. He has in the past mentioned a new The Searchers and Fighter Squadron. If BYU is unable to continue their wonderful series of Max Steiner cds then could another label do them?

Didn't Intrada's release of "Those Calloways" do well in sales?

Yes it did. I think it sold out for Intrada in a month or two. BYU did issue it next and it's still available at SAE. I wish Steiner was able to do a few more Disney films. I gather his health and eye sight would not permit it. I would think certain Steiner scores would sell pretty well, especially westerns and epics like Helen of Troy. Sure would like to see The Hanging Tree.
