I've just recently become aware of the Starz original show, DA VINCI'S DEMONS; in fact I just breezed through season 1 (a whopping 8 episodes). One of the best parts about it is Bear McCreary's score - a mix of contemporary rhythms and 'old world' elegance. Just thought I'd share this video interview of McCreary scoring season 2:
If you haven't checked out this show, do so now! McCreary puts as much (if not more) thought and preparation into his television scoring as most major film composers do. Give this man a big budget film already!
