There was a support B feature way back in the sixties where a plane came to a stop in the air above the clouds & the passengers got out (walking on some dry ice!), & I think it turns out they're already dead, or something. It's bugging me, I'm going to have to find out what film it was. EDIT. I think it was, The Flight That Disappeared (aka The Flight That Vanished) 1961, a message film about super bombs. 2nd EDIT. I think it could be a TV film that was on the Horror Channel in the UK last week (or next week, I can't look it up, I'm just about to go to sleep, I'll check on it when I get back from work tomorrow. I saw it a few years ago. I think it works out that these people from a doomed future are time traveling back to planes that are just about to crash, putting everyone to sleep & replacing them with dead bodies, & sending the passengers into the future, where people can't conceive, or something like that. Quite a neat idea, you interfere with the past without changing the future. It might be called Termination Point, but it's not that old, 2007.
