This week the radio programme Soundtracks has its 100th edition. The subjects in this week’s show are the number 100 and music for Easter Week. You can listen at www.secklowsounds.org. It is broadcast on Wednesdays at 10pm BST (giving US availability times as 5pm EDT, 4pm CDT, 3pm MDT and 2pm PDT) and is repeated on Sundays at 12 midnight BST (giving US availability times as 7pm EDT, 6pm CDT, 5pm MDT and 4pm PDT) and on Mondays at 11am BST (US: 6am EDT, 5am CDT, 4am MDT and 3am PDT). Previous programmes are available on Secklow Sounds’ Replay facility and on Spreaker: http://www.spreaker.com/user/5679723?tab=collection On MixCloud ALL the previous editions of Soundtracks are available at: http://www.mixcloud.com/secklowsoundtracks/ The shows are one hour long. Among the shows there have been such subjects covered as: Saul Bass Nadia Boulanger Identifying TV Cop shows from their themes Richard the Lionheart Critically-reviled films (probably my favourite show) Afloat In the air Tiomkin Westerns and profiles of many composers, song-writers and lyricists, among a variety of subjects, which you can listen to on MixCloud. Sometimes the matters discussed on this board have found their way into the shows. There is also a mystery for me – I do not know why one particular show, #47 on Raymond Leppard and music for Caveman films, has proved to have had far more listens than any other show. I hope I can repay the debt I feel for the pleasure this board has given to me, by perhaps having my shows providing interest and entertainment to others. Good luck exploring and happy movie listening – Tony Carty
