TUESDAY, APRIL 15 DIE HARD 6---a rumor claims 20th Century Fox has met with writers to develop the latest sequel which will reunite Bruce Willis (John McClane) and Samuel L. Jackson (Zeus Carver) from DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE. If the rumor is true, it might mean the earlier reported script by Ben Trebilcook (DEADER COUNTRY) has been rejected. Trebilcook's script was tentatively titled DIE HARDEST and had John McClane in Tokyo to be honored by the Nakatomi Corporation for the rescue of the hostages in the original 1988 movie. However, McClane soon encounters vengeance from the past and discovers Nakatomi isn't what it appears to be. BLADE RUNNER---Harrison Ford commented on possibly appearing in the sequel, "I'm quite curious and excited about seeing a new script for BLADE RUNNER if in fact the opportunity would exist to do another, if it's a good script I would be anxious to work with Ridley Scott again, he's a very talented and passionate filmmaker. And I think it would be very interesting to revisit the character." He also commented on if Deckard is a replicant, "I think that it's a wonderful storytelling mechanism for that question to be left unanswered...I love that people are still curious about it." If Harrison does appear in the sequel and is 30 years older, it might indicate that Deckard is not a replicant. GONE GIRL---trailer released for the David Fincher movie based on the novel. Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Missi Pyle, Tyler Perry, Sela Ward, Neil Patrick Harris and Kim Dickens star. Premiere is October 3. FLASH GORDON---reboot movie underway with a script by John D. Payne and Patrick McKay (STAR TREK 3). The reboot will be "right back to the original Raymond comic strips and sidesteps any association with the movie, and even the serials" and "reclaim Flash Gordon from his current reputation in the way that Tim Burton redirected the public conception of Batman." GAME OF THRONES---the last episode drew 6.3 million viewers which is up 48% compared to last season's second episode. Also, MAD MEN's final season premiere only had 2.3 million viewers compared to 3.4 million for the previous season's premiere. TRUMBO---movie underway about blacklisted writer Dalton Trumbo (ROMAN HOLIDAY) starring Bryan Cranston with Helen Mirren in talks to play his his wife. YELLOWSTONE FALLS---movie underway in which a mother wolf must defend her cubs from mutated humans after a global mutant apocalypse. SCALPED---WGN America is developing a tv series based on the DC comic book.

Well, Harrison Ford might be 30 years older by now but they could always apply a surrogates-style "skin-job" on him like they did with Bruce Willis!
