Watched half of the premier... will finish it up tonight. Liked what I saw... it felt a bit shaky but as you said I did like it played fairly low key, going for more creepiness and quirk as opposed to a more obvious, broader approach. Interested in seeing how it develops
Wasn't aware of this program. Never saw the film, but had a general idea what this was about. I'm torn because I really love the cast, but I just don't enjoy violent programming.
It was beautifully filmed. Lots of contrast with bright lights and smoke. Extremely funny at times. There are already a few gaping plot holes (which is the norm nowadays- style over substance) so that may turn me off more than the bloody scenes.
Typical American product in other ways. Lots of warnings of violence and nudity in the program. Except we got to see the violence in all its gory. (pun intended) but the nudity was blurred out so why even a warning?
