There's no way this is real. Varese would have announced if Spartacus was about to go OOP.

I did a check with the cart thing we do & I got these numbers. These numbers are probably more related to how many copies are in stock instead of the entire run... No way has Varese sold 4980 copies of Spartacus.

Howdy fellow score friends! These numbers only reflect what is actually IN the office of The Bande aka. Varese Sarabande Records. Unless they post under a title, FEWER THAN...please disregard these figures. This is ONLY what is actually in our office. We would never let something like Adrian get below 200 and not tell all of you. OK back to work for me. Enjoy the groovy tunes!

This subject should be closed outright. The rep from Varese already stated that the figures ONLY represent IN-STOCK quantity. There is no way, SPARTACUS, with a run of 5,000 copes is down to a mere 12, AND Varese woill always give people a heads up. CASE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RM Eastman is just being a funny funny funny guy Plenty of copies to go around and yes we have plenty of Spartacus to go around. Now if I could only manage to get Kirk Douglas to sign my copy, I'd be in heaven!

So, can someone tell me the POINT of this thread? Clearly if someone at Varese has said it's only for in-house stock, then why is this called a low-quantity alert, as if people who've been waiting need to act IMMEDIATELY? Disingenuous at best. And no, I know the Spartacus numbers and not only is it not in danger of selling out, it will NEVER sell out.

Boy, I wish I'd scanned all the way to the bottom and read this before I panicked and bought four hundred copies of each of these CDs. You wild, impulsive, wanton madman!
