From the La-La Land Facebook page:

A funny thing kinda happened this week -- our 300th title came out and we didn't realize it! lol While it's catalog # is 1299, Stepford Wives is technically our 300th release because of the Star Trek TOS box set. That release is a special catalog# of 1701, so when you add that to the other 299 titles in our catalog you get 300!

Oh, and for your "eagle eyes" out there you might notice a title we haven't announced yet.

So happy 300 to us! (at least until catalog #1300 comes out).

They also posted a picture with all of their 300 releases. It's too big to post here, but here's the link:

The title that hasn't been announced is The Addams Family by Marc Shaiman. You can see the cover on the picture on the bottom row in the middle.

Glad to see this coming. But I was hoping it would have been a double disc of both the first and second films.

I was hoping it was going to be a 3CD set with the music from the TV movie Addams Family Reunion on it.

I was hoping it would be all the Bryan Adams/Michael Kamen songs compiled, complete with alternate takes

Well, _I_ was hoping for an ADDAMS FAMILY release that contained six CDs, one DVD, and a deluxe 168-page book. They could have done the complete scores from the two theatrical pictures on the first twos discs... demos and unused cues on disc 3... the original 1991 score dubbed down to mono for some reason on disc 4... and interpretations of the original Vic Mizzy theme by various leading composers of our day on discs 5 and 6.

Unfortunately, La La Land had to play this one cheap and simply present the original score from the first movie at (gasp!) an affordable price. When will these people learn???????

Come on, La La Land, this is horseshit. These are GUARANTEED sales.

I was hoping that it wasn't the complete score and rather just an easy-to-digest suite at a length of precisely 4 minutes, 23 seconds.

Perhaps this post is in jest, but I don't care. Amotz Plessner's music for this film is marvelous, head and shoulders above the wretched film for which it was written.

As for this, a delightful score rich in catchy themes, but is there really that much missing from the original album?

I was hoping it would have the music I hear when I visit my friend Adam's family.

Thumbs up. Two thumbs down too many here.

Damn, that was pretty good.

An absolutely loathsome, despicable and vile release that I can't wait to start hating once it arrives. As a matter of fact I hope it gets to be the most dirty degraded compact disc ever with pikes sticking out the edges, cutting many a wrist of those who waltz on its deadly tunes.

Ugh, I can't believe they put those three twenty-second tracks into a suite. And left off that one flubbed take that I'm sure exists somewhere!

Otherwise a wonderful release of my favorite score of all time. Rating: F+

I'm definitely interested in an Addams family CD!

I loved the big graphic for all of LLL's releases too, as it was a fun way to see how many releases I've bought from them. 26, more than I thought!

This, for the win.

Between my Father and me, we have 198 of the 300. Some of those 198 titles we have 2 copies of since we wanted our own copy. We will make it 199 with The Addams Family. So, you could say we have supported the label.

Looks like 97 here - that's a lot of $!

Just counted, I reckon I have about 107 of those releases (possibly plus a couple) and there are easily another 30-40 I'd love to get when the funds are there. Sadly some of the bits I'd would also like to get are now OOP.

LLLR really have had many stellar & interstellar releases.

That is a nice image indeed. I own about 70 titles of those and I just realized they have outnumbered my Varese section. Sweet.
