"According to The Chicago Manual of Style the title of the book is correct as written. Rule 7.16 (page 354 of the 16th Edition) applies here. Other examples given are "Jesus's adherents" and "Kansas's legislature." It is common, however, to eliminate the second "s", but that doesn't make it correct.
