I am a big fan of Don Rosa's Disney comics and I have never seen anyone in this board mentioning him. Anyway a cd by Tuomas Holopainen with music inspired By The Life and Times of Scrooge is available on sale in amazon. Worth a look.

Sure, I was a big fan of Rosa back in the 80s and 90s when I considered him the rightful heir to Carl Barks. Unfortunately, I've faded out of Donald Duck comics in the last 20 years, so I don't know what he's been up to since then.

Well I suppose I could ask him next weekend what he is up to as he will be one of many of the industry guests at the Motor City Comic Con.

Media guest list is fairly impressive headed by William Shatner, Richard Anderson, Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner, Nicholas Brendan from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Burt Young, Robert Hayes, John Barrowman, Ernie Hudson, Chris Sarandon, Kent McCord and Karl Urban.

Sadly Dawn Wells, Andrew McCarthy, and Julie Benz have all cancelled.

That sounds great; I wish I could attend.

Here's a thread I started about it on JohnWilliamsFan.com:

It's a great concept album, thoroughly enjoyable; do note there is also a "Deluxe" (though not expensive) edition with an additional CD featuring the intrumental versions (though there really are very few vocals on the tracks and only one song).

(Ooops-- sorry.)

I suppose you're already aware that Fantagraphics is publishing a hardcover collection of Rosa's works later this year.
