If you are old enough to remember the theme song from Burger King, 'Have it Your Way' which goes back to around the late 1970's, it's history. Burger King has changed their motto.
(I'm sure someone will post the variations on Youtube).

BK lost my business when they downsized their double cheeseburger and then jacked the price up to over two bucks. Sayonara, BK.

The Karate Kid girl! Well they lost my business 12 years ago when they closed the BK down the street, with the next one being 5 miles away. Lets see McDonalds half a mile away. BK, five miles away...

It's hard to beat one of my homemade hamburgers with a very thick slab of medium-cooked fresh ground sirloin, sliced yellow onion and tomato, thin sliced sweet pickles, with mustard and ketchup on a large sesame seed bun, served with Lay's barbecue potato chips and a large glass of very cold milk. (I've never cared for cheese nor lettuce on my homemade hamburgers, though I offer them to friends if they want them.) But if I'm in a hurry, the BK Whopper remains my favorite fast food, along with extra onions, light mayo, along with fries and cold soda. Making me hungry!

Hey Ron, substitute the Yellow Onion for a Red Onion and a cold beer for the milk and I'm there. Oh wait, the SIZE and capabilities of your enormous stereo speakers give me pause.wink

My local Burger King sucks. You ask for extra mayo and and extra lettuce and they'll put no mayo and no lettuce. What a bunch of dumb idiots that work there.

Mcdonald's sucks too. I think they have maybe 1 or 2 items on their DOLLAR menu that are actually a buck. All the dollar stuff is now $1.29 or $1.39

Can't even eat shit anymore for cheap. Sheesh.

Your not kidding. Fast food is one of the worst offenders nowadays.

I always found Burger king food acceptable enough not to insult it. Although I didn't think there pancakes were that great. It serves it's purpose. Could millions of people who eat there, all be wrong. Maybe they could but I really doubt it.

No more "hold the pickle, hold the lettuce, special orders, don't upset us..."???

About the only reason to go to BK and they toss it out the window.

Thank you. Apparently you and I are the oldest of the responders here DavidInBerkeley. I remember that, and ONLY THAT song from all the others, whatever they may be.

I happen to love red onions too, so they are exchangeable for the yellow ones. But I never acquired a taste for beer -- happen to hate beer and coffee -- but would certainly substitute it for YOU! And I'm sure you'd be knocked out by my large Klipsch speaker systems! Size DOES matter!

I would travel, and have traveled, more than 20 miles for a BK Whopper and fries.

There is BK and then there are the lesser establishments, including Mickey D's, et al.

There is nothing so nice when traveling to come to a burger king restaurant and eat there food. You know something, millions of people will agree with me.
