Dropforge.

I strongly suggest that if you want the discussion, such as it is, to continue, you keep your impulse to take an insulting stance a little more controlled.

Otherwise the Constable has to come in here and that would kill the thread.

Lighten up, Francis. Nobody's insulted nobody. Excuse the double negative.

So, yeah, let's let a little sunshine into this dank, musty bar before Marion Cobretti shows up to rip our tanks. Trade in your ale for some Pepsi Throwback and get a little zip in your hip and pep in your rep!

You took a shot at me by name when I wasn't in the conversation.

Most of the time that fine but your tone has become increasingly juvenile with those whose opinion you disagree with. Again, that fine (sort of) but stick to the general rules of good debate if you want to engage me in particular.

Capisce?

Yeah, lets keep this fun. No one is going to change anyone's mind. But calling ppl asses is uncalled for. Before this thread gets locked I'll just say I'm still waiting for a great American Godzilla movie. Maybe the eventual reboot in 15 years will be the one I long for. One that actually has Godzilla in it. wink

Sorry you took that so personally. I just threw that in as an aside.

Again I really liked the new GODZILLA. But I confess, I'm an easy critic. There aren't too many movies I don't like.

TO HENRY- I notice there are not many things of anything your that critical of, which is not a bad trait- sans moral issues and you can't yell fire in a crowded movie theatre. That trait is fine with me. People like all different things in films and even if I don't like the subject matter of a film I will give where credit is do. I can't see how anyone can insult anyone if they are happy for 2 hours enjoying a film, nobody is going to stop someone from liking a film if they like it. so why be a troll?

I find it funny the latest TV commercials are showing nothing but Godzilla in order to entice the last few scraps of people into the theater seats. Not our GI Joe hero, not the Dad's doom and gloom rants, not the Halo jump, not the Muto's. Hmmm, what would people want to see in a Godzilla film? big grin

Post-release trailers always include more of the footage they avoided in earlier trailers, like Yoda fighting Dooku and Batman taking a jump on his Batpod cycle.

Meanwhile, people are still buying tickets to see it. You're trying way too hard...
