It is interesting in horror film history that 3 big genre stars had birthdays within 2 days at the end of MAY. PETER CUSHING-MAY 26, 1913- VINCENT PRICE-MAY 27, 1911 and CHRISTOPHER LEE[still with us] MAY 27, 1922.Put the total sum of these 3 stars films together, genre and non genre and you have a great collection of cinema history. Hundreds of hours of nice entertainment. These 3 beloved stars only twice worked together on one film SCREAM AND SCREAM AGAIN-70-and HOUSE OF THE LONG SHADOWS-83-However LEE and CUSHING have worked together many times. PRICE has worked with both a few times. All 3 have been often referred to as gentleman of horror over the years and have for the most part been thought by most as good guys in a cutthroat industry which has a lot of questionable characters. May I salute all 3 with a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Film watching would have been a lot less enjoyable without them.
