Bear McCreary's work on DaVinci's Demons (season 1 and season 2) is my favorite of anything I've ever heard from him. It's remarkable, and I don't find the long releases a problem at all. I don't care for some of the middle section of season 2's score with the ethnic flutes and severely irritating female vocals, but I'm glad I got the chance to listen to them at least. Now I just program them out if I want to listen to the score. Otherwise his work on this series is stellar!
Gave this a re-listen in preparation for the upcoming 3rd season, and it's still great as ever! Looking forward to what McCreary comes up with as the show moves to Istanbul
