This is great news. I grabbed mine early but Michel Legrand's score should be available to everyone for a good while. I hope the composer is happy that he's getting some attention for this score once again.
The original album release is one of my top 10 favorites ever. Should I get the Quartet release? How is the sound guys?
It is in my top 10 also. You will regret not getting it, but you can live without it. Aside from the bank robbery music, the new cues are all very brief. Sound is OK, not great, not awful, but jarring if you try to mix it with the album.

Moviemusic had it re-stocked and shipped immediately - maybe he had extras, or is it possible some stores can duplicate CDs to avoid international shipping?

Thanks, I feel like it is really unworthy to update. Pretty sure this is essential for fans who don't own previous releases though!
But the case of Thomas Crown is quite different. The film version are taken from a ΒΌ inch mono tape labeled as "Music Tracks" vaulted at MGM within a lot of different tapes containing the album versions in mono and stereo. No papers or titles inside.
As always, many audio samples are available in our website to allow customers to check the quality, and I must say that the sound of the mono tracks in this album are pretty warm.
I greatly dislike the fake stereo effect applied here. Can we please go back to mono tracks being released as mono?

Strange, I do not see that my comment bumped this thread up to the top of the queue. I'll try again with another comment. Did not comment because I didn't want a reply, I am genuinely interested in how many additional copies Quartet is pressing.
Sorry, I have to go this way, but since my copy was faulty (it does not play on any of my 3 CD-Players), I was promised a replacement about half a year ago. Never showed up. Sent another email a couple of weeks back - no reply! Quartet, could you please reply to my email and send me the promised disc?
