Hey, do I ever make jokes about your blonde Johnny Depp avatar? Never! wink

Nor should you - since it's Robert Patrick. wink

Why would 71 year old Han still hold onto the Millennium Falcon? It was a piece of junk. He got a huge reward for rescuing the Princess in Star Wars, and probably lived like a King after Jedi. Logically he would have sold off that rust bucket and got himself some sporty craft with shinny chrome accents.

Maybe he had a special attachment to it and fixed it up. Maybe he did get a new ship, but kept this as a backup, and will hand it off to young Solo or young whomever.

Well... she may be a little rusty, but she is supposed to be the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy.

She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid.

Maybe he put it up for sale on Interstellar Ebay but didn't get any bids.

You silly '90s kids...OF COURSE I knew who it was. I blame myself for being too subtle in my wondrous internet humor. wink

Regarding the Millennium Falcon. It should at least look refurbished in the next film with a nice paint job and maybe little work done under the hood. wink

As long as it looks like the toy I desperately wanted but never got as a child (hence my "emotional damage" today), that should be fine.

And on top of that, I never owned *three* Bespin Guards; I was lucky to have one of those, though I did at least have one of the African-American ones, as well. Who can I sue?

I have a friend, (closing in on 60) who has one of those and its probably in mint condition. He collected that stuff for years.

IIRC, the Falcon retailed for $29.99 in 1979 so with the ol' inflation calculator, that would be about $98.00 in 2014 money; no wonder my parents said "No" to that birthday/Christmas request back then. The funny thing is, today's parents wouldn't even think twice about getting their for their kid (though to be fair, my best friend *did* have all that great stuff circa 1979-80).

I got it, Jim, and I had a great chuckle out of it. Thank you.

You're welcome, pal. smile As for the rest of you, only those with Midi-chlorians in their blood understand my humor.
