Just a heads-up for anyone interested in all things military/Afghanistan, National Geographic's "Inside Combat Rescue" filmmakers were present during my last deployment in 2013 and filmed our team doing outside-the-wire missions. That special is finally going to air tonight at 9pm (Eastern).

I'm sure I'm not actually in it (thankfully), but it's rewarding to see our efforts actually being documented. I'm not trying to get into a political discussion here, just wanted to give you guys a heads-up if you're interested.

Cheers!

I would watch it if I got NatGeo.

Question: After watching "Lone Survivor" I was wondering, are there pine trees in Afghanistan?

Not that I'm aware of! I didn't see any while I was there, but I'm pretty sure you can chalk it up to "Lone Survivor" being filmed in New Mexico wink
