Brian Tyler has been hired to score the upcoming CBS TV movie Scorpion.
The movie is created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci & Justin Lin, and stars Robert Patrick, Katharine McPhee, Sean Patrick Murphy & others.
Justin Lin is also executive producing and directing the movie.
Storyline: An eccentric genius forms an international network of super-geniuses to act as the last line of defense against the complicated threats of the modern world.
Scorpion will air on Monday nights at 9 pm ET on CBS. It is set to premiere on September 22, 2014, as part of the 2014–15 television season. I believe a crossover episode with Hawaii 5-0 is also planned.
