THE EXPENDABLES 3---first official trailer released. Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Kelsey Grammer, Wesley Snipes and Antonio Banderas star. Premiere is August 15.

HEROES REBORN---Jack Coleman (HRG) is the first cast member to sign for the NBC 13-episode spin-off miniseries. Milo Ventimiglia and Zachary Quinto are reportedly unavailable to return.
GAME OF THRONES---the Season 4 finale drew 7.1 million viewers compared to Season 3's finale of 5.4 million.
SHARKNADO 3---Ian Ziering commented on the third Syfy tv movie in the series, "I think it should be a European city. We have so many foreign fans, I think we should take the movie to them. I thought wouldn't it be great instead of demolishing a city, if we, through a Sharknado, could rebuild it? Wouldn't it be fantastic if we went to Italy and a Sharknado straightened the Tower of Pisa."
BOWE BERGDAHL---the ZERO DARK THIRTY team of director Kathryn Bigelow and writer Mark Boal are developing a movie based on the recently-released US soldier. A second Bergdahl movie from Todd Field is underway based on a ROLLING STONE article.
POINT BREAK---Teresa Palmer (WARM BODIES) is in negotiations to co-star in the remake movie.
RESIDENT EVIL---the tentative title for the last movie in the series is RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER.
VOICE FROM THE STONE---Emilia Clarke (GAME OF THRONES) stars in this movie based on the French novel LA VOCE DELLA PIETRA in which a nurse helps a boy recover after his mother's death and encounters an evil force in the family's castle.
UNTITLED PETS PROJECT---animated movie underway about pets in a Manhattan apartment building. Voices provided by Loius CK, Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Albert Brooks and Lake Bell.
TROLLS---Anna Kendrick stars in this DreamWorks Animation movie based on the iconic Danish troll dolls.
AALIYAH: PRINCESS OF R&B---Lifetime biomovie underway starring Zendaya Coleman.
THE POWERPUFF GIRLS---the Cartoon Network is developing a reboot series for 2016.
