Yes, this is awesome news!!! The last restoration was a butcher job, and it's since been falling apart. I understand ppl that know the Enterprise and passionate about it will be involved in restoring her as close as possible to her original state.
First time ever, styrene plastic model kit of the spaceships from Earth vs The Flying Saucers. Very small, only 5 inches wide and three parts! But it's a kit anyone can build and affordable.
I might get the kit, but unfortunately it requires painting. Even though five inches is relatively small, Harryhausen's Flying Saucers were the highlight of the movie, and the Atlantis model is bigger than model I currently have from the movie (see photo).

That's really cool! I wish the Atlantis kit came with a few in scale aliens. They said instead they plan a supplemental kit with the figures and maybe a few other add-ons.
