Over the years a friend of mine could not agree on a showing of a film MONDO CANE-63. He was convince this feature was shown on WOR- TV CHANNEL 9 IN NEW YORK decades ago and was in syndication on free TV. I never could trace it down that this film was ever shown on free TV and I find it very unlikely figuring the content of the film it would have been shown in the 60's or early 70's on free TV. Can anyone who is very knowledgeable about free TV showings of decades ago and syndication film packages of the past help on this. I think he saw it somewhere ELSE and was dreaming. I also got a feeling he is thinking of the feature THE SKY ABOVE THE MUD BELOW-62- which was shown in syndication decades ago including on CHANNEL 9 in NEW YORK.
