BATMAN v. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE---a source claims to have seen production designs for Doomsday. Doomsday's appearance in the sequel is hinted at in the special features on the MAN OF STEEL Blu-ray edition.

TRUTH---Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett are in talks to star in this movie about the controversial 60 MINUTES II segment which claimed President George W. Redford would play Dan Rather, and Blanchett would play producer Mary Mapes whose memoir the movie is based on. The director is writer James Vanderbilt (THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN).

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5---Rebecca Ferguson (THE WHITE QUEEN) was picked for the lead female role to co-star with Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner. Alec Baldwin is in talks to play the head of the CIA. Baldwin is also in talks to co-star with Will Smith in BRAIN GAMES which involves the NFL concussion controversy.

HAIL CAESAR!---Scarlett Johansson and Jonah Hill are in negotiations to co-star with George Clooney in this movie about a 1950s Hollywood fixer.

ELEMENTARY---Gina Gershon (SHOWGIRLS) will guest star as Dr. Joan Watson's nemesis, a socialite and drug cartel head.

THE FLASH---Robbie Amell, cousin of Stephen Amell (THE ARROW), will play Firestorm.

WER---straight-to-dvd movie starring AJ Cook (CRIMINAL MINDS) as a lawyer who defends a young man accused of murdering his family while vacationing in France and discovers he's really a werewolf.

JAMIE BROOKS IS DEAD---supernatural movie in which a high school student and his girlfriend discover the murdered body of a classmate. Later, his ghost begins to appear to them. Carter Smith (THE RUINS) is the director.

Well, she's only a dozen to two dozen years younger than the male leads.

BBC AMERICA---renewed ORPHAN BLACK and BROADCHURCH.

No surprise with Orphan Black. Broadchurch is not a BBC America production. The series is made by ITV.

BBC AMERICA---renewed ORPHAN BLACK and BROADCHURCH.

Re Orphan Black, that's good to hear. I had heard it was getting canned after series 2, but having just watched it on UK BBC3, it felt like it was finding its feet and deserves to be given a chance to go where it needs to.

AFAIK, Broadchurch is broadcast on BBC America in the US: http://www.bbcamerica.com/broadchurch/ so this is probably a renewal of the rights for the broadcasting to continue to be with BBC America and won't be about renewal of the actual production itself, which is of course with ITV in the UK.

More "info" to deliberately mislead. It's way too soon for Doomsday. That would also require a completely solo Superman film.

If they can avoid paying the C charge while traversing all over central London in a legally registered vehicle then I'd say the title (misson impossible) is fully deserved.

Yeah, if all the rumors floating around on this movie were true, it'd have to be five or six hours long to accommodate them all.

So hopefully the news Ben Affleck will play Batman was all a ruse.

This could be made an even bigger project now with the revelations of “Lyin’” Brian Williams and his helicopter fable. Include him and Hillary Clinton and her “Sniper fire” tale as part of one big action-flick. They could all be embedded with troops in some terrorist hotbed and “misremember” about their chopper being shot down and snipers firing at them.
Williams: “We’re hit! RPG’s! AK-47’s! We’re goin’ down! How’s it look down there?”
Hillary: “Not good! Oh, no! Sniper fire!”
Rather: “Don’t worry; I’m ‘documenting’ all of this!”
I can see Redford as Rather and maybe Pierce Brosnan as Brian Williams. Who could be Hillary?
