It's great to have it back in print. I've got the happy owner of original disc myself, but fans of entertaining, impeccably orchestrated and, above all, fun film music should grab this one!
Anyway, buysoundtrax, is there any chance of releasing Davis' own House of Frankenstein? I know it's available as a digital download and the promo pops out here and there every now and then, but it certainly deserves a proper CD release. I'd buy that.
Has anyone received their copy yet? I am wondering when I should start to worry if I don't receive it in the mail.
I got a notification that mine had shipped on July 31 but the tracking info just shows that they submitted pre-shipment info to the post office. Like they bought a label but theres no indication that they physically shipped it.

Well, you can thank UPS for the delay on this one
The Package contained the autographed got lost in the Canadian UPS series (Mr. Davis is on Holiday in Canada), with luck the shipment will at long last arrive at our office on Monday
we'll be getting these out to everyone ASAP after they arrive.
Mine has arrived today Will post some thoughts on the sound later.
EDIT: OH YES! Now this is how this score should sound. A fabulous job all around. I know it gets said a lot but this is like listening to the score for the first time. Every detail and nuance is made clear.
I can't make a detailed comparison between this one and the Prometheus issue, because I've upgraded my audio gear since the last time I listened to it. But I can say right away that the new BSX release has improved transparency and naturalness.

James Nelson at Digital Outland is the one you have to thank for this improvement.
