I live in the States, and I used to pick up new copies of Empire and Total Film magazines at Barnes and Noble when they would be released. I really like these magazines. Lately, however, due to problems with their "distributors" B&N has been having trouble getting these magazines in and I have missed the past few issues.
I am pretty sure I can round up the issues I missed on eBay or Amazon, but can anyone recommend a general site to buy Empire and Total Film? A good website to buy the NEW issues of these magazines, say when they are released instead of going to Barnes and Noble trying to track them down, is there a reliable website that gets these issues in regularly who I could order from?
I am considering buying subscriptions to these two magazines, but in the meantime if anyone can recommend a good website for purchasing NEW copies of just released issues of Total Film and Empire as they hit newsstands, I would be grateful.
Subscriptions are the way to go. Both of those magazines do lots of specials for subscribers only including some nice covers and you are pretty much guaranteed delivery.
I've actually just cancelled my subscriptions to both magazines because I don't have time to read them thoroughly any more. I'll still pick up issues from time to time though.
Just trying to work out what to do with my old copies. I have every Empire and most Total Film and they are just sitting gathering dust in a cupboard and I doubt I'd ever read them again.
