Horner gets ripped for using that same device in countless scores, but what about that two-note Harmonica refrain that Jerry Goldsmith used time and time again.
You know the one, heard in Lilies Of The Field, A Patch Of Blue and The Flim-Flam Man, to name but three.
Can you name any other scores wherein JG used his very own Danger Motif (although it isn't used for danger, more nostalgia or wistful regret)?

Goldsmith probably pioneered that on various episodes of The Twilight Zone (notably "The Big Tall Wish").

Goldsmith's danger motif from Capricorn One was "reimagined" by Horner just seconds before the Titanic strikes the iceberg.
