It’s Here !

Cancel everything for the next six Monday night’s.

“Broadchurch - 2” started here on Monday night, and it didn’t disappoint. I tuned in, fearing that they might have been too ambitious in trying to re-create what went before.

On the contrary, it grabs you by the throat before the first Ad break, and it’s not going to let go of us ’til we get to the end !

We’ve only seen one episode, but you can tell that this second series is going to be every bit as gripping, mesmerising and thoroughly entertaining as the first one was.

It has style by the bucketful, and the cast is just superb ! There is also a lovely role in it for (an older) Charlotte Rampling, who is going to be terrific !

Ólafur Arnalds again provides us with an amazingly atmospheric score. Just wonderful !
.
Don’t watch any Previews, or read any synopsis .... just DON’T spoil any of the surprises for yourself.

Is it next Monday yet ?????

I finished Broadchurch 2 a few weeks ago. I thought season 1 was stronger, but I enjoyed Season 2. I have now seen three episodes of Season 3, and it is very good.

Love the actors. Olivia Colman is marvelous. I really like David Tennant, but sometimes I struggle with his accent and have to really listen to follow some of his statements. I think all the supporting actors are also excellent.

Love the town and surrounding area.

Hope some of you are watching season 3.
