Tuesday 15th July; a day never to be forgotten, the day my son's cd player developed a Worm Hole and swallowed Star Trek The Motion Picture. The poor lad was distraught, his favourite Jerry Goldsmith score, gone.

Wednesday 16th July I fire off an order for Star Trek The Motion Picture to La La Land and to my amazement on Monday 21st July it's here.

Son is ecstatic and all is well here in the UK.

Five days from ordering to receipt, thank you La La Land for your incredible speedy response and thank you also to the various Postal Services responsible for delivering Star Trek from America to the United Kingdom in record time.

Your efforts are much appreciated.

WOO HOO! The new "ludicrous speed" service at the Post Office worked! smile

Glad it arrived safely across the pond.

Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing. It’s nice hear the good stories.

I got the TOS box and two days later I dropped one of the jewel cases and it shattered. I emailed LLL asking how to pay for a replacement. They mailed me a new one and it arrived in two days.

I remember coyly asking for a Mark Snow Autographed X Files Box set #1 and this was after the autographed copies were sold out. And Voila when my package arrived from LLL there was the signed front cover. Ill never forget the generosity of the LLL team. Thanks again.

I find America to the UK usually takes around a month these days. The fastest - Intrada Swashbuckler, ordered it in the early hours of Tuesday, & it arrived on that Friday. The Slowest - Intrada In Harm's Way, it arrived almost six weeks after I ordered it, funny, it never occurred to me to ask them to send another. Touch wood, I've ordered hundreds of stuff from America & nothing (so far) has gone amiss. I still think it's a minor miracle that I can order something from the other side of the world, & have it delivered right into my house.

I've found I always get my La-La Land packages in less than a week to the UK. Others are more hit and miss.

So, props to La-La Land!

It's almost as if they know ahead of time what we will order...
