saw this Ennio Morricone double-score as a pre-order on Intrada. Looks like a reissue in jewel case from Beat Records.

The track list is indeed exactly the same as Beat's earlier release of both scores.

Grab it if you don't own it yet: 'Il Grande Silenzio' is one of Morricone's best.

Mastering by Enrico De Gemini

Does this mean it's been remastered?

I wonder what the difference (if any) in sound quality is?

Same sound as the previous release. New graphic layout and 12-page booklet.

Yeah, I have the original release of this (which is also in a jewel case). If you're a Morricone fan, Il Grande Silenzio is a must have, but I could never warm to Un Bellissimo Novembre.

maybe that's why they stuck both scores together - a must-have with a never-was.wink
Wish Grande Silenzio would get a complete or at least expanded release. I'm sure there's a thread explaining why not.

"Novembre" is so short that, by definition it cannot qualify for major work. However the track "Ancora PiĆ¹ Dolcemente" has always been a personal favourite.
