.....since it appears that one of my favourite shows of all time - The X Files - may be heading for a reboot... Den of Geek are carrying details of an interview with Chris Carter and Vulture, where the following is mentioned: "After batting away talk of the lawsuits both he and David Duchovny brought against Fox, The X-Files creator spoke of how he and Fox TV CEO Dana Walden go way back, confirming "she and I have talked a lot about this". "Is that a way of saying a reboot is happening?" asked Vulture, "That's just a way of saying there certainly have been conversations", Carter replied. "So why hasn't it happened?" Vulture pressed him. "I would assume nothing" were Carter's final words on the matter. Mulder and Scully fans are really waiting for news of the long-mooted third X-Files movie, which has reportedly been sketched out for some time. If Gillian Anderson is right, that won't happen until at least 2016, if at all. When we chatted to Frank Spotnitz eighteen months ago, he indicated that a TV reboot was likely, and confirmed that there wasn't yet a script in place for the planned third movie." I enjoyed the most recent movie, and whilst I would love the continuing exploits of Mulder and Scully to play out on the big screen, I'm more than happy for a small screen reboot (it was kind-of rebooted once already....sort of....). Any thoughts?

The final series episode had an alien invasion date which has come and gone...maybe a movie could answer this mystery and tie-up the alien arc.

No Mulder or Scully, no sale. Period. What happened to Doggett and Reyes?

All I can muster is an "Eh". I got a "Hell yeah!" if they anounce Mark Snow as composer.
