Hefti's "Won Ton Ton" was his last film before retiring. In conversation with Hefti he told me he was tired of the system and the proliferation of electronics not only in film music but music in general. The score was orchestrated by Jack Hayes. Perhaps Kritzerland can locate and release another Paramount score by Hefti, "Boeing Boeing". It would also be nice to see "Barefoot In the Park" and "The Odd Couple" released. There are a few other scores of his that have never been released in any form. "The Last Of The Red Hot Lovers" comes to mind.

All of the above are Paramount films, and unfortunately, are from the "lost decade" of Paramount scores.
I've always been partial to Hefti's 'Barefoot in the Park'. When I first visited New York before I moved there, I was at The Hotel Washington Square, which is right across the street in the scene where Robert Redford is drunk and (literally), barefoot in the park. I also wouldn't mind a straight re-issue of the album if that's all that's available. But, maybe they could find the track somewhere of Jane Fonda singing 'Shama-Shama'?
