Silvestri's score for Van Helsing is one of my absolute favorites, and a large amount of score from the film was left out of the original album( I also just discovered a possible alternate version of Transylvanian Horses from a behind the scenes video around 2:18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYXPBijqYVE, meaning there may be more alternates lying around). It may be one of his more louder scores but I don't feel as if it ruins the entirety of the music. Hopefully someone decides to take a whack at it smile

Wishlist:

Lilo and Stitch
Judge Dredd
The Mummy Returns
Stuart Little
The Polar Express
(essentially anything Silvestri smile)

You know I'll take all of them expanded!

Same here... but I would definitely prefer some premiere releases for a change or of it really has to be expansion, then something like Beowulf or The Quick and the Dead far, far, far before Van Helsing.

Funny you should mention that. From what I remember each and every cue from that score was either revised or had an alternate ver. Probably due to constant editing changes. Terrible movie, but one helluva score. The score needs expansion, I agree.

ps Notice the facial expression of one of the violists at 3:04! Lol

The trio of Judge Dredd, Mummy Returns and Van Helsing really do need to be expanded! I'd snatch all of them up in a heartbeat

I've been sitting on the edge, waiting for this very release all year as right now ten years have passed.
So technically a complete release by our dear labels would be now indeed be a possibility.
(Similar to how for example "X2" got a complete release two years ago)
