A month ago someone was looking for the name of the slow piece that the Amity HS band plays and was wondering if it was a JW original or a standard. I can't find the thread, but I found the tune!

Awesome, thanks! I'll have to watch it again as I don't know if the band was actually playing that in the film or if it was an instrumental version done by Williams and the orchestra.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting this!! I have been looking for this song for YEARS! My dad has a vague recollection of this song but could not place the lyrics or title, "Teach Me Tonight." Now, to find the big band instrumental version, although it's likely Universal used JW's orchestra or studio musicians in the film.

I always loved how this tune cross faded into the shots of rainy, overcast Amity Harbour. Then we get a first glimpse of Bruce which leads into William's The Shark Prowls cue.
