Eight beauty contest winners appeared in the film as guards and handmaidens--"Miss USA"; "Miss New Jersey"; "Miss Montana"; "Miss Germany"; "Miss Louisiana"; "Miss Michigan"; "Miss Hawaii" and "Miss Welcome to Long Beach". Reportedly, all eight received acting contracts from Universal.
