Looks great, I am looking forward to grabbing this! I wish there was a CD release prepared too, but I guess I'll live with the digital download, since sometimes that's all that is possible.
The vinyl preorder on Amazon is for "Season 1." My dream would be the digital sampler album, and physical releases (preferably CD, vinyl is useless to me) on a season-by-season basis. But based on the link I posted above which seems to have some official info on the release, my guess is that Amazon is just listing this vinyl incorrectly.

That's my assumption, I think it's just a case of the item not being listed consistently on different sites. That being said, I think a highlights disc is my preferred format in this case, I really just want the "best of" moments from the entire series.

I think this is the future. Digital downloads and vinyl for vinyl collectors.
Of course. But I was moaning about lossy digital download (even if I would have enjoyed a CD release). Hopefully this is also coming to HDtracks or Qobuz.

The only thing I had wished has been included with this digital release was a file with some info/comments from Kiner. I'm curious to know which episode each track comes from and the story behind those tracks where a co-composer is listed. Maybe there'll be an interview with him somewhere that will provide these details.
Vinyl but no CD? That's fraked up! Can't wait for the 8-Track and reel to reel versions. Maybe in 35 years CD's will have a resurgences as the "collectors medium".
Not at all familiar with the music. Though I like some of Kiner's other works and the sound samples are pretty decent.

I enjoyed Kiner's work in WING COMMANDER and the CLONE WARS theatrical release, so I was primed to enjoy his music here. Often times his music on the show gets lost amid the sound FX, so there are times when I found the cues merely functional and less "musical". However, with the samples provided I was pleasantly surprised at the musicality of the cues, all very listenable.
